Inspiration struck twice yesterday: in German 3 and in an interview with Dr. Jim Martin. Students should not be pitted against each other as competitors. Our grading system has done this for years as have parents. How can we put the "us" instead of "me" back into learning? Teach skills that help students create something new together! Thank you, Dr. Martin. My students will soon be organizing and leading their own work groups in order to learn and highlight cultural norms around travel during Corona. What German or European strategies might (not) work here in the US?
